111Skin has secured a significant minority investment from Skyy Partners, the consumer-focused private equity firm co-founded by celebrity and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian.

With the support of Skyy Partners, 111Skin plans to strengthen its direct-to-consumer business and expand its customer base in key markets, including North America and Asia. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The co-founders of 111Skin, Eva and Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, will retain majority ownership and continue to lead the company alongside CEO Vanessa Goddevrind and the rest of the management team.

Goddevrind said: “The Skyy Partners team has tremendous experience working with distinctive, growth-oriented brands. They’re passionate champions of our core values and share our drive for excellence.”

Founded in 2012 by plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, 111Skin combines 20 years of surgical expertise with innovative delivery methods. The brand's product line includes bio-cellulose face masks, along with a comprehensive range of skincare products, tools, and supplements.

111Skin has made significant advances in the spa market, recently reaching its 111th spa account. Its partner portfolio features luxury operators such as Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, Four Seasons, Montage, Langham, Kempinski, Jumeirah, Anantara, One&Only Resorts, Accor, Marriott, and more.

David Brisske, Skyy Partners MD, said: “Eva, Yannis, Vanessa and the 111Skin team have created and nurtured a coveted brand with world-class products and a loyal customer base, which fits perfectly with our strategy.

“111Skin has a strong foundation and significant ongoing potential, and we’re honoured to partner with the founders and leadership for the next phase of growth.”

Goldman Sachs International acted as the sole placement agent on the transaction and Raymond James served as financial advisor to Skyy Partners.
