Nutri-cosmeceutical beauty brand OSKIA has unveiled an eye cream called Midnight Eye Q, which has been designed to regenerate the delicate skin in alignment with the body’s circadian rhythm.

The new formula is said to take advantage of processes that mostly take place at night during sleep. Blood flow increases, repair enzymes activate, collagen synthesis peaks and barrier renewal accelerates, according to the company.

When awake, the brand says eye skin is in protection mode, guarding against environmental stress and free radicals.

The cream contains 31 active ingredients. These include growth factors, peptides and melatonin.

Skin brightening ingredients include mushrooms (shiitake and turkey tail) and two forms of vitamin C to support collagen and address pigmentation linked to shadowing.

Caffeine, guarana and niacinamide are combined within the product to de-puff the eyes and reduce dark circles. 

Various vitamins and minerals are also found within the formula, such as magnesium, zinc, copper and pro-vitamin D3 to support skin barrier integrity.

According to clinical trials, the cream reduces dark circles by 80 per cent, puffiness by 35 per cent and fine lines by 45 per cent.

The Midnight Eye-Q joins OSKIA’s Midnight Elixir, a regenerating night serum that was launched last year, containing regenerating growth factors and multiple peptides.
