Comfort Zone refreshes menopause facial and rolls out Sublime Skin Hormon-Aging treatment

We want to help women regain their confidence in this new phase of life

B Corp skincare and spa brand Comfort Zone has refreshed its menopause-specific Sublime Skin Hormon-Aging facial with new active formulas and massage techniques.

As a woman enters menopause, their hormonal changes can cause big changes to the skin function. Namely, a drop in oestrogen and progesterone causes collagen production to slow up and become less efficient. These changes can then present themselves in the form of severe dryness, thinning and loss of density in the skin.

Refreshed with products from the Sublime Skin collection and two special massage techniques (dermal petrissage and kobido), the facial is designed to reactivate cellular communication, encouraging deep regeneration of the skin.

“We now have a specific facial to address the physical and emotional upheaval that women go through during menopause,” said Barbara Gavazzoli, Comfort Zone education and communication director.

“We want to help them regain their confidence in this new phase of life.”

The brand describes the treatment as a professional solution to alleviate the effects of hormonal ageing on the skin and mind.

The treatment was updated after Comfort Zone partnered with nutri-dermatologist Dr Maria Bucci and British holistic hormone expert Dr Alyssa Burns Hill in January 2023.

As part of the launch, Comfort Zone will offer dedicated training for therapists globally so that they can fully comprehend the challenges of hormonal fluctuations. The training will also educate them in confidently offering nutritional lifestyle advice, leaving the client feeling like they can approach this stage of their life with more knowledge and positivity.

Gavazzoli added: “By combining professional treatments, a Sublime Skin homecare regime to amplify results and nutritional lifestyle advice, Comfort Zone wants to help women to approach menopause with more knowledge and positivity.”
