Infrared therapy: Iyashi Dome offers clinical data and a longevity-focused approach
Iyashi Dome is an established developer of professional infrared therapy solutions, having originally entered the marketplace with its innovations in 2004.
The Japanese-inspired technology is now used in spas, hotels and wellness centres around the world.
Over the past twenty years, several clinical studies have been conducted using Iyashi Dome technology to assess the benefits of infrared therapies.
In 2012, one trial found that the technology helps to eliminate heavy metals, particularly cadmium, during one session of deep sweating.
In 2014, another study highlighted improvements in skin microcirculation, better tissue oxygenation and increased skin comfort after several sessions.
International research, published in the journal Thermal Medicine, in 2005, showed that controlled elevation of body temperature stimulates the activity of HSP70 – proteins naturally present in the body that are involved in cell protection and repair.
Chosen by the best, backed by research: Iyashi Dome and modern infrared therapy
These findings are consistent with numerous studies conducted over more than twenty years on infrared therapy. They all point to the same conclusions – that the technology offers the following benefits: improved circulation, stimulation of repair mechanisms, anti-inflammatory effects, detoxification and results associated with healthy ageing.
At the Les Nouvelles Esthétiques 2025 trade show, vascular medicine specialist Dr Philippe Blanchemaison and Iyashi Dôme presented a conference dedicated to these topics: longevity, lifestyle inspiration from blue zones, the role of HSP70 proteins and the place of infrared therapy in a preventive beauty approach.
Iyashi Dôme continues to pursue this rigorous approach to innovation, delivering measurable results tailored to the requirements of professionals.
