Speedflex, the fitness concept known for delivering HIIT Without The Hurt, has announced a number of new clients.

The brand is excited to announce Freedom Leisure, Lifestyle Fitness, Jubilee Hall and Sport Aberdeen have all chosen to add Speedflex Blades to their gym floor offering.

Following a recent install of Blades at Freedom Leisure’s Stafford Leisure Centre, business development director, Mark Learnihan, said:

“The Speedflex Blade is a fantastic offering for our members, enabling them to enjoy on-demand high-intensity workouts with low impact. We’ve been talking to Speedflex for a few months now to integrate this wonderful new and innovative product onto our gym floor.

“The initial interest at our Stafford facility where the first Blades have been delivered has been overwhelming, both from instructors and customers. Feedback has been that it gives a really fun and interactive workout with perfect instructor-led guidance on screen making it simple to follow.

“We’re rolling out the Blade to a number of sites across England and Wales over the coming months to develop our offering across the group.”

Operators are also sold on the accessibility of the workout. Speedflex uses innovative piston technology which means it responds to the force you apply.

By moving the free motion bar slowly it is light and easy to move, and as you move the bar faster and with more force, it offers increasing resistance and is more difficult to move.

Speedflex UK sales director James Smith, believes the popularity of the Blade is down to its inclusivity.

“The Speedflex concept caters for all levels of fitness and the majority of pre-existing health conditions making it perfect for the gym floor.

“The equipment responds to the force applied by the user making it suitable for everyone. Members of all ages and fitness levels can jump on and get a personalised workout, with no need to adjust any settings.”

In addition, Speedflex only uses concentric movements, completely eliminating the DOMS which can be so off-putting for beginners, deconditioned individuals and even those in training for a sporting event or competition. When you train on Speedflex, you know you will experience no aches and pains the following day.
