French Marine skincare brand, Thalgo, has launched a three-piece product line to complement its Spiruline Boost spa treatment.

Called The Spiruline Boost range, the collection features a detoxifying serum, anti-pollution gel-cream and an energising eye gel. It is designed to reduce skin fatigue and prevent the first signs of ageing, using a complex of active ingredients combining energising spirulina and anti-stress marine magnesium

“We’re excited to launch the Spiruline Boost range,” said Marian Harvey, Thalgo MD, “it’s been created to treat first wrinkles and is especially helpful for skin affected by urban pollution, stress and fatigue.”

The serum comes in the form of a gel which is claimed to intensely revive the skin’s natural radiance, smooth wrinkles, revive the complexion and erase signs of fatigue.

The gel-cream is concentrated with spirulina and marine magnesium, and protects against urban pollution.

The third product – a multi-purpose eye-gel – has been created to target puffiness and dark circles using ingredients such as elderflower polyphenols and horse chestnut escin. Thalgo has also designed the product with a roll-on triple ball tip to provide a cooling and relaxing effect to help stimulate massage on the eye contour to de-wrinkle and smooth fine lines.

The company has developed the range to complement its 60-minute Smoothing Detoxifying treatment – a four-step facial procedure to help guests disconnect from urban life.

To create a comprehensive offering, Thalgo has also unveiled a seven-day ‘In and Out’ Spiruline Boost booster treatment course to complement the spa treatment and at-home products.

The course involves a daily Detox and Energy Shot drink, as well as a daily booster concentrate ampoule containing hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, energising spirulina and marine magnesium. It is designed to reduce stress and energise both the face and body

Harvey concluded: “This is a fabulous collection of products combining energising spirulina and marine magnesium. The addition of the energising detox shot acts as a perfect spa cocktail and our professional Smoothing Detoxifying treatment ensures we’re providing a complete 360° offer.”
