Margaret Dabbs London rolls out its AstraeaNatura LED Hand Mitts professionally worldwide
Margaret Dabbs London is rolling out its AstraeaNatura LED Hand Mitts to spas around the world.
The mitts are positioned as an advanced biohacking solution, using photobiomodulation to affect cellular function. According to the company, they use near-infrared and red light (830nm / 630nm) to stimulate ATP (cellular energy), accelerating healing, reducing inflammation and stimulating collagen to plump thinning skin. They also incorporate green light (520nm) to target hyperpigmentation (age spots), reduce redness and improve skin clarity.
The company is promoting the mitts as a way to offer revenue growth with no added labour costs as they do not require therapist time or dedicated room space.
Customers can also go on to purchase the mitts post-treatment, creating further retail revenue opportunities.
Margaret Dabbs OBE, told Spa Business: “We're seeing a clear shift within the luxury spa industry towards treatments that deliver visible, clinically proven results while fitting seamlessly into the guest experience.
“We developed our LED Hand Mitts to elevate hand care into a meaningful treatment category, combining advanced light therapy with a solution that integrates effortlessly into existing rituals. It enables spas to enhance results, add value for guests and embrace the growing demand for evidence-based wellness, delivering visible improvements in skin quality, pigmentation, and overall hand health, without increasing therapist time.
“The treatment also creates a valuable retail opportunity, with guests able to continue their results at home, driving additional revenue for spas while extending the beauty, health, and wellness benefits beyond the treatment room. This is exactly where I believe the future of luxury spa treatments is heading.”
