Create immersive vibration experiences with Power Plate
Steve Wright, Power Plate’s VP of UK & EMEA, firmly believes the boutique and studio fitness sector is primed to explode in popularity as Gen Z and Millennials seek more intimate fitness experiences including specific recovery components that focus on their health and longevity priorities.
“In recent years, this sector has witnessed a transformative trend: the integration of immersive vibration experiences,” Wright said.
“This innovative approach leverages advanced vibration technology to enhance the effectiveness and enjoyment of workouts, drawing fitness enthusiasts seeking a more engaging and rewarding exercise regimen.
“Capitalising on this technology to differentiate themselves in a competitive market, studios including Accomplish Fitness, Vibe Tribe and Leap Fit in the UK have incorporated vibration into their class offerings, creating a unique blend of traditional fitness routines with high-tech enhancements.
“Further amplified by integrating immersive elements such as music, lighting and other complementary therapies, studio owners are finding that these unique experiences can justify higher class prices, thereby increasing revenue potential.”
For boutique fitness and studio owners, embracing vibration technology not only sets them apart but also aligns with the growing consumer demand for fast, innovative and effective fitness solutions.
Natt Summers, founder at Accomplish Fitness, says: “I’m achieving remarkable results by using Power Plate and red light therapy together, accelerating recovery and fitness gains as well as benefiting my clients both physically and mentally”.
In contrast, Leap Fit, the world’s first Power Plate REV studio has taken a different approach, utilising Power Plate within a “vibration-enhanced group cycling class”.
Studio co-founder, JJ Jegede, says: “Our members don’t just get a cardio workout but a strength one too. It’s one of our most effective classes.”
For more health oriented studios, the focus is less on fitness and more about living well.
For example, Feelgood Fitness & Wellness Centre uses vibration across the board to enable movement and improve quality of life among people with health concerns such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and stroke patients.
“We always explain the science, which means people use our Power Plate equipment properly and really feel the benefits – vibration training is so popular there’s often a queue to use the products,” explains Aaron Tyler, facility owner.
