Ishga’s Muscle Recovery Oil now available in retail size following customer demand

This development is a great example of our customer-focused ethos and ability to innovate

ishga, a skincare and spa brand specialising in organic seaweed products, has unveiled a retail version of its professional Muscle Recovery Oil to soothe tired muscles.

Originally designed for the brand’s Deep Tissue Massage, the oil is powered by a blend of ishga’s signature Hebridean seaweed extract and essential oils extracted from eucalyptus, may chang, peppermint, rosemary, lavender and rose geranium.

Almond and jojoba oils are also incorporated to help nourish the skin and provide an anti-inflammatory effect.

Leon Trayling, director at ishga, explained that the oil was first developed as an exclusive professional product.

“As a brand, we’ve always developed our product range and treatment offering by listening to our partners and responding to consumer demand.

“Once spa clients began to experience this oil in our treatments, it quickly became apparent that we needed to launch it as a retail product. This development is a great example of our customer-focused ethos at ishga and our ability to innovate with our in-house R&D team."

The oil is suitable for all skin types and, thanks to the inclusion of seaweed, is claimed to be enriched with vitamins A, C and E, along with trace elements and amino acids.

ishga says this combination aids blood circulation, increases the skin’s moisture content and, when combined with essential oils, offers a soothing, muscle-easing, anti-inflammatory effect.
