In recent years, many skincare brands have started to focus on the link between skin health and wellness.

A Western pioneer in anti-inflammation“For nearly 20 years, Swissline has been formulating its products with madecassoside, the most purified pharma-isolated fraction of the plant centella asiatica, more commonly known as cica,” explained Swissline international brand director, Custodio d’Avo.

“Initially, the intent was to calm sensitised skin and reduce inflammation arising from aesthetic procedures, but later the brand expanded its approach to also address silent, chronic inflammation."

Swissline understands that skincare alone can only do so much to combat the effects of oxidative stress. Thus, alongside its results-oriented skincare, it emphasises the importance of a healthy lifestyle, sun protection, a balanced diet, adequate sleep, a fitness regimen and stress management.
