Swissline introduces new ritual designed by world face massage champion and Smart Cream Mat moisturiser

Professional Swiss skincare and spa brand Swissline has tapped the expertise of Anna Tsankova, the 2023 world face massage champion, to devise a brand new signature facial protocol. The method has recently made its worldwide debut at Six Senses Spa Marbella.

Swissline’s new Signature Face Sculpt Massage incorporates breathwork, MLD, muscle release and fascia manipulation, together with Tsankova’s advanced massage sculpting techniques. The treatment is claimed to stimulate lymphatic drainage and circulation, relieve muscle tension, shape facial contours and reactivate collagen production.

Swissline says the improved lymph flow and increased microcirculation have the added benefit of making the skin more permeable, which facilitates the absorption and efficacy of its professional products

The new method has been integrated into Swissline’s 90-minute Le Grand Soin au Collagène Pur ritual and offered as an add-on treatment to other Swissline facials.

The ritual will be rolled out in Swissline’s Golden Circle – a hand-picked selection of five-star hotel spas, including the Burj Al Arab in the UAE and the Shelbourne in Ireland.

More about Anna Tsankova

Tsankova is a London-based medical cosmetologist, trainer and consultant with more than 20 years of experience. She designs advanced aesthetic facial protocols for luxury beauty and wellness brands and spas, in addition to teaching cosmetology, facial massage and exercises and offering consultancy services.

She said: “I believe in designing treatments that don’t just treat the surface of the skin but work on all layers of the face reducing muscle tension, fascia and lymphatic flow restrictions to ensure optimum skin health and radiance.

“For this treatment, my vision was to merge the profound efficacy of Swissline’s intelligent formulations with my novel, results-driven facelift techniques to create a holistic treatment that resonates with the body’s intrinsic rhythms and physiology.”

New product launch: introducing Smart Cream Mat

In other news, Swissline has announced the launch of Smart Cream Mat – the third and final moisturiser in its Smart Cream line, which already includes the Smart Cream and Smart Cream Rich.

The lightweight oil-control face cream targets blemishes, acne and enlarged pores through the use of microspheres. With a silky and velvety feel, these orbs absorb excess sebum and diffuse light for a less shiny surface.

Swissline says the allergen-free, alcohol-free oil-control moisturiser can be used in conjunction with prescription-level retinoids, benzoyl peroxide and other acne medications.

Key ingredients include:

Purifying complex: A blend of pomegranate peel, kakadu plum, tree resins and peptides work together to inhibit the growth of propionibacterium acne and reduce blemishes. Rich in multi-tasking polyphenols, the complex is claimed to help tired, stressed and sensitised skin recover from acute inflammation.

Pore-reducing botanicals: Extracts of burdock, birch and ivy regulate sebum production, brighten the complexion and contribute to reduced pore size.

Madecassoside: Pharmaceutical-grade fraction obtained from centella asiatica, also known as ‘tiger grass’.

NMF (natural moisturising factor): A complex ingredient naturally present in the skin, NMF keeps the outer layers of the skin protected and well-hydrated. It consists of various amino acids, free fatty acids, triglycerides, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, sodium PCA and other compounds.
